Spring might be the sweet spot for couples who have always pictured themselves getting married outside.
The property starts coming alive again. Everything feels fresh and green. The days begin getting longer, but you have not quite reached the full personality of a Florida summer yet.
And yes, by personality, we mean heat.
Spring gives you a little more flexibility with your ceremony time, especially if you are dreaming about exchanging vows outdoors and moving into an evening reception afterward.
At the Haven, we love the transition of a spring wedding from ceremony to reception. Guests can enjoy the property while there is still plenty of daylight, then everything starts to feel a little more romantic as the sun goes down and the lights around the pavilion begin to take over.
Spring also works beautifully if your wedding vision includes soft colors, lots of greenery, garden inspired florals or that effortless romantic look that feels like it belongs outside.
Just remember that spring is popular for a reason.
If April or May 2027 is already living rent free in your head, check the date before you get too attached to it.

Fall Weddings in North Florida
Now, fall?
Fall understands the assignment.
There is something about an outdoor wedding once the evenings begin cooling down that just works.
The colors get richer. Candlelight suddenly feels necessary. Burgundy, terracotta, champagne, rust, olive, chocolate and deeper neutrals start making their way onto the mood boards.
And the Haven looks really good dressed for fall.
A fall wedding gives you that outdoor atmosphere so many couples want without needing your wedding to look like a pumpkin patch to make it seasonal.
You can go romantic.
You can go moody.
You can go modern.
You can keep everything neutral and let the property do the work.
October and November are also the months when fire pits, warm lighting and an evening celebration outside start feeling less like décor choices and more like part of the experience.
There is, however, one thing you should know.
Everybody else knows fall is good too.
If you are hoping for a Saturday wedding in fall 2027, this is not the date we would recommend keeping tucked away in your Notes app for another six months.
So, What Is the Best Month to Get Married in Florida?
There really isn't one.
There is a best month for your wedding.
If being outside for most of the day is at the top of your list, you may lean toward spring or fall.
If you love warm evenings, later ceremonies and a reception that really comes alive after sunset, summer might surprise you.
If you already know you want candles everywhere, deeper colors and a cozy outdoor celebration, we probably do not have to convince you about fall.
Your guest experience matters.
Your wedding vision matters.
Your budget matters.
And yes, Florida weather absolutely gets a vote.
The goal is not to choose a season because Pinterest told you it photographs well.
Choose the season that makes sense for the kind of day you actually want to have.
One More Thing Before You Start Planning the Pretty Stuff
We know picking linens is more fun than checking venue availability.
We know you have probably already saved the flowers.
And we fully support having an entire Pinterest board dedicated to a wedding you technically have not booked yet.
